What Two Wheel Touring is all about

Two Wheel Touring is a few friends from Napa Valley who would rather take the long way. We ride the forgotten roads: old mining towns up in the Sierra, ridges and back roads in the foothills, the coast north of anywhere you've heard of, and the Delta levees on the way home. Pavement when it's there, dirt when it isn't.

Every ride starts and ends in downtown Napa. We film it, write it up, and post the route so you can ride it too. You can grab the files, follow along on the videos, or come out with us on a guided ride. Either way, the point is the same: get out there and see what's left behind.

Supermoto Steve

Steve has been riding for more than 40 years. Around town he's on the supermoto, which is where the name comes from, but when the trip runs long he tours on a V-Strom 650. He's also a professional photographer and videographer, so if a ride with Steve looks good later, that's no accident. He'll guide you through the Sierra and back, and he'll probably get the shot on the way.

Misdemeanor Mike

Mike earned the name honestly. He's a prankster who rides the edge, and he does it on a V-Strom 1000 with the power to back it up. He packs for a longer story than the afternoon usually turns out to be. Ride with Mike and you'll come home with a good one, whether or not you planned on it.

Jesse "The Wiz"

The newest member of the crew, with more than 40 years on motorcycles. Jesse rides a Honda NX500 and is a wiz with a wrench, which is where the name comes from. He keeps every bike we own road ready, so we can go ride.
